Rotarians participate in ‘Tri Colour Walk’ on the eve of India’s 77th Independence Day at Necklace Road!

Rotarians from different parts of Telangana, including Hyderabad, Secunderabad, Guntur, and Prakasam in Andhra Pradesh, came together for a special ‘Tri Colour Walk’ on the eve of India’s 77th Independence Day. The event took place at Thrill City, Necklace Road, and was flagged off by Dr. Shankar Reddy Busireddy, the District Governor of Rotary International District 3150. The rally featured a 100-meter Indian flag and showcased the spirit of patriotism and celebration. The aim of the walk was to highlight Rotary International’s efforts in helping the underprivileged and spreading hope in the world.

Rotary International District 3150, which consists of various Rotary Clubs such as Secunderabad West, Jubilee Hills, Hyd Legend, Megacity, Hyderabad Pride, Sainikpuri, Himayathnagar, Miyapur, Hyderabad Crusaders, and others, organized the walk.

The Tri Colour Walk provided an opportunity for the younger generation to reflect on the sacrifices and determination of our ancestors who fought for independence. Dr. Shankar Reddy Busireddy emphasized the importance of continuing to work on projects that benefit the community and create hope in the world.

Rotary International District 3150 has been involved in numerous charitable initiatives, including the construction of schools and toilets, setting up dialysis centers, blood banks, mobile eye hospitals, palliative care units, artificial limb centers, and various surgical units. These initiatives have made a significant impact on the community.
