Bhupalpally: Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu announced a compensation of Rs 1 lakh for families in Komaravelli village affected by a tragic accident at the Saraswati Pushkaralu. He assured government support to the family of a sanitation worker who died from head injuries.
On Saturday, Sridhar Babu joined the ‘Saraswati Pushkaralu – A Day of Thanks’ event in Bhupalapally. He emphasized the government’s dedication to organizing the Godavari Pushkaralu in 2027 with great enthusiasm.
Looking ahead to the Godavari Pushkaralu, the state plans to expand the highway to Kaleshwaram into a four-lane road. Additionally, new bus depots are planned for Kaleshwaram and other important areas.
During the Saraswati Pushkaralu, approximately 30 lakh devotees took holy dips at Triveni Sangam. The event generated nearly Rs 10 crore for TSRTC. Free bus travel enabled many women to attend the festival comfortably. Bhupalapally MLA Gandra Satyanarayana Rao, District Collector Rahul Sharma, and other officials were present at the event.
