A major theft occurred in the Narayanguda area of Hyderabad. A house in Minerva Hotel Gully, Himayat Nagar, was robbed on Wednesday night. A man from Bihar, who was working in the house, stole gold, diamonds, and other valuables worth around Rs. 2 crore. He then disappeared without a trace.

The owner of the house, Rohit Kedia, was in Dubai for his daughter’s wedding. In his absence, his employee, Abhay Kedia, reported the theft to the police. Based on his complaint, the Narayanguda police registered a case and started an investigation.

Rohit Kedia had left for Dubai four days before the incident. He had provided accommodation to 20 workers in the house. On the night of February 11th, one of these workers, along with an accomplice, stole cash worth Rs. 20 lakh, along with gold and diamonds, amounting to Rs. 2 crore. The police are analyzing CCTV footage to track down the culprits.

Progress in the Case

The police have made progress in the investigation. They arrested the main suspect, Sushil, near Nagpur. After committing the theft, Sushil had traveled to Nagpur from Nampally railway station.

With the help of the Nagpur police, the Narayanguda police arrested him and brought him back to Hyderabad. Sushil is currently in police custody, and further investigations are underway.
