In Gadwal, Telangana, employees of the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) showcased remarkable honesty by returning a lost bag containing Rs 2 lakh to its rightful owner. The incident took place on the 0015 Express bus, which was traveling from Kothakota to MG Bus Station (MGBS) in Hyderabad.

A passenger named K Radha, along with her two children, boarded the bus from Kothakota. Unfortunately, she accidentally left behind her handbag at the MGBS lighting point. The bus conductor, Kiran Kumar, and the driver, BC Bhagavantu, noticed the unattended bag and immediately reported it to the Gadwal Depot Manager, Cherala Muralikrishna.

Following the standard procedure, the bag was safely secured and taken back to the Gadwal point. Meanwhile, the worried passenger reported her missing bag at the MGBS security control room. The security team, including SASI G Srinivas Reddy and Outpost Incharge MD Habib, quickly acted and contacted the Gadwal point.

After verifying the details, including cross-checking the passenger’s Aadhaar card, it was confirmed that the bag belonged to K Radha. In the presence of security officers and the passenger, the bag was opened, revealing Rs 2 lakh inside. The amount was carefully verified, and after completing the necessary formalities, the bag was handed over to the relieved passenger.
