In Hyderabad, activists are concerned about the lack of basic amenities for minorities. They are questioning why only 22 districts have Urdu Ghar cum ShadiKhana, which supports cultural and literary activities in localities.

The latest RTI (Right to Information) filed by YouRTI.in has revealed that out of the 33 districts, only 11 have this amenity. These districts include Jagtial (7), Karimnagar (1), Khammam (1), Mahabubnagar (1), Nagarkurnool (1), Nizamabad (18), Peddapalli (1), Rajanna-Sircillla (3), Suryapet (1), Wanaparthy (3), and Warangal (1). The other districts still do not have these cultural centers.

Kareem Ansari, an RTI activist, raised questions about the 22 districts without Urdu Ghar cum ShadiKhana. He tagged Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, Ministers T Harish Rao, Koppula Eshwar, and AIMIM Chief and Hyderabad MP, Asaduddin Owaisi, to bring attention to the issue.
