Hyderabad: Renowned cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has invested in Suntek Energy Systems Private Limited, known as Truzon Solar, a solar energy firm based in Hyderabad.
On December 23, 2025, Tendulkar bought 1.8 lakh shares valued at Rs 3.6 crore, giving him about a 2% stake in the company.
Truzon Solar, established in 2008 by Charugundla Bhavani Suresh, focuses on solar projects for homes, businesses, and larger utilities, including rooftop systems and PM-Kusum schemes.
The company operates in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh. It plans to enter new markets like Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh.
Founder Charugundla Bhavani Suresh expressed that this partnership with Sachin Tendulkar is more than just financial; it supports the company’s values and long-term goals. The collaboration is expected to boost brand credibility and aid national expansion.
Truzon Solar believes this investment will speed up India’s shift to clean energy. Tendulkar’s principles of trust and excellence align well with the company’s mission.
This investment is a major step for Truzon Solar as it aims to rank among India’s top three solar EPC companies by 2030.
