A large gathering of Congress OBC leaders took place at Talkatora Stadium in Delhi. The event aimed to strengthen unity and awareness among OBC communities nationwide. Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, Mahesh Kumar Goud, and other senior Congress leaders attended.

Sarithamma, a former Zilla Parishad Chairperson and Congress leader from Gadwal, delivered a compelling speech. She focused on the need for social, educational, and economic growth for underprivileged groups, especially OBCs. Sarithamma expressed her belief in Rahul Gandhi’s ability to lead India towards inclusive development.

She highlighted the necessity of a strong OBC movement to ensure justice for backward classes. Sarithamma stated that under Rahul Gandhi’s leadership, the Congress party would push for the 42% OBC Reservation Bill, which has been pending for a long time. This bill would represent a historic advancement for backward communities across India.

Sarithamma urged people from weaker sections to unite in supporting Rahul Gandhi as the next Prime Minister. She emphasized that marginalized communities want him to lead the country and secure their rightful place in society.

The event was attended by current and former OBC MLAs, MPs, MLCs, Corporation and Market Committee Chairpersons, DCC Presidents, and senior leaders from the Congress Party’s OBC wings. Representatives from Youth Congress, NSUI, and various OBC organizations and associations also participated.

This meeting is part of the Congress party’s strategy to engage backward classes before upcoming elections and reaffirm its dedication to social justice and equality. With influential voices like Sarithamma advocating for grassroots empowerment, the event signified a crucial move in strengthening the Congress party’s OBC outreach across India.
