The Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) celebrated Harithotsavam as part of the State’s formation day. They planted over 5.71 crore saplings in the last 8 years in their mining areas, prioritizing sapling plantations. This green chain initiative helps to reduce the temperature in Singareni areas. SCCL Director (Finance) N Balaram alone planted over 16,000 saplings in the last eight years in the mining areas.
TSSPDCL Chairman and Managing Director G Raghuma Reddy also participated in the celebrations by planting saplings at the corporate office premises. Saplings were planted in all the zonal, circle, and divisional offices of the organization to mark the occasion.
