Schools and colleges in Telangana will be closed on Monday, April 14, 2025, in observance of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Jayanti. This day is a public holiday celebrated in honor of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.
In addition, April 12, 2025, falls on a Saturday, which is the second Saturday of the month. Schools and colleges are usually closed on second Saturdays.

Because of this, students will have a long weekend with holidays on both April 12 (Saturday) and April 14 (Monday). This gives them a short break from their regular classes.
