Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy visited Necklace Road – IMAX in Hyderabad on Friday to check a proposed location for a new statue of Mahatma Jyotirao Phule.
He was joined by Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, TPCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud, MP Anil Kumar Yadav, several MLAs, and other government officials.
During the visit, the Chief Minister asked the officials to carry out a full survey of the site. He told them to come up with a clear and detailed plan so that the project can move forward without problems. He also said the statue’s design should avoid causing traffic problems or inconvenience to the public.
Earlier that day, CM Revanth Reddy paid tribute to Mahatma Jyotirao Phule by visiting his statue in Amberpet. The visit was part of the celebrations for Phule’s birth anniversary.
