Hyderabad: Starting tomorrow, the state government will require all Secretariat employees to use facial recognition for attendance. This new system aims to improve transparency and ensure more accurate tracking of employee attendance.

The government has introduced this system as part of its efforts to use technology to enhance administrative efficiency. The facial recognition system, which uses advanced biometric technology, will replace older methods like manual registers and fingerprint scanners.

To prepare for this change, employees have been asked to register their facial data on designated portals. Authorities have also assured employees that they will receive support and training to help them handle any technical issues during the transition.
