    Hyderabad: The Shree Jagannath Swamy Ramgopal Trust will hold this year’s Shree Jagannath Yatra on Friday.

    Purshottam Malani, a family trustee and founder of the trust, shared that the Rath Yatra celebrates Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Goddess Subhadra. This event has been organized annually, aligning with the famous Rath Yatra at Jagannath Puri. For 130 years, the procession has started from the Jagannath Temple in General Bazaar, Secunderabad.

    Malani expressed his excitement about the festival, expecting many devotees from Secunderabad and Hyderabad to participate and receive blessings.

    He advised devotees to note the following schedule for Darshan: The temple will open at 6:15 AM on June 27 and close at 1 PM. The Rath Yatra will commence at 4 PM, traveling through General Bazar and reaching MG Road from 6:30 PM to 11 PM. The procession will then continue through Hill Street and Ranigunj, returning to the temple around 4 AM the next morning.
