    In a meeting in Mulugu, Minister Seethakka emphasized the need for plans to prevent floods in the district. She directed officials to create comprehensive strategies to avoid future flooding. Seethakka stressed the importance of ensuring drinking water supply in villages during the summer and staying vigilant during rainy seasons to prevent flood-related issues.

    The Minister urged officials to act quickly to prevent loss of life and property during floods. She advised finding technical solutions to divert floodwaters and working with senior officials from relevant departments. Seethakka promised to secure government funds to address these issues and prevent public hardships during floods.

    Special officers were told to visit villages promptly to address problems. Seethakka warned that negligence by officials would not be tolerated and stressed the need for preparedness plans for the rainy season. She also asked about ongoing development projects in the district and urged officials to finish them quickly.

    Delays in project completion cause inconvenience to the public, according to the Minister. Contractors failing to complete their work will be dismissed, she warned.
