Mancherial: Minister D Anasuya (Seethakka) emphasized the need for officials to make sure all eligible people receive benefits from government welfare schemes.
On Saturday, she conducted a review meeting at the conference hall of the Integrated District Offices in Naspur, Mancherial. The meeting included collectors from Mancherial, Kumrambheem Asifabad, Adilabad, and Nirmal. Discussions focused on Bhu Bharathi, Indiramma Indlu, Yasangi paddy procurement, and preparations for Kharif cultivation.
The minister assured farmers that all soaked paddy would be purchased according to regulations, alleviating any concerns. She announced that from June 3 to 20, revenue conferences would take place in all mandals, and land issue applications would be accepted under the Bhu Bharati Act.
Officials were instructed to prepare for Kharif-2025 cultivation by ensuring seeds and fertilizers are available as needed due to the southwest monsoon. Strict action was advised against those overpricing or creating shortages.
With the academic year starting on June 12, the minister urged schools and hostels to be ready. Special attention was recommended for Anganwadi centers, with a focus on providing chickpeas to adolescents for better nutrition.
