Weather authorities have issued an urgent alert for Hyderabad and several districts across Telangana as intense thunderstorms move across the region. The storms, which originated from Vikarabad, have begun advancing into the city, bringing scattered intense thunderstorms to areas including Attapur, Rajendranagar, and Bandlaguda Jagir. The weather system is expected to further impact Charminar, Bahadurpura, Balapur, Kishanbagh, Chandrayangutta, and Barkas within the next hour.

Residents in affected areas have been warned about the possibility of hailstorms at isolated locations across the city. The alert specifically mentions that scattered moderate rains and thunderstorms are expected to cover Shaikpet, Tolichowki, and Nampally within the next two hours. Authorities have advised citizens to stay indoors and take necessary precautions during this weather event.

A critical warning has been issued for rural Telangana districts between 5:00 PM and 7:30 PM. Severe storms are currently moving across Jangaon and are expected to cover parts of Warangal district. The weather system shows no signs of immediate weakening, prompting officials to maintain high alert status across multiple regions.

The northern districts of the state are also facing severe weather conditions. Intense storms are currently affecting Adilabad and are projected to move towards Nirmal, Asifabad, Nizamabad, and Mancherial over the next two hours. Weather monitoring systems indicate that these storms carry significant intensity and could cause disruptions to normal activities in these areas.

The entire Rangareddy district continues to experience severe storm activity. The weather system is expected to extend its reach to Nalgonda, Nagarkurnool, and the Choutuppal region within the next two hours. Multiple areas across the district are already witnessing heavy rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning.

Weather officials have specifically warned residents about the possibility of hailstorms at several locations across the state within the next three hours. Citizens have been urged to stay alert and avoid unnecessary travel during this period. The meteorological department continues to monitor the situation closely and is expected to provide further updates as the weather system progresses.
