YS Sharmila, the president of YSR Telangana Party, has urged all political parties to join hands and work together towards the betterment of unemployed youth in the state. She expressed her disappointment with the government for not paying heed to the problems faced by the unemployed. According to Sharmila, the youth and students of Telangana are suffering due to the government’s lack of interest.

Sharmila revealed that the forum she had formed was fighting for fee reimbursement, job opportunities, and better facilities in universities. While the PRC Commission stated that there were 1,91,000 job vacancies, KCR claimed that there were only 80,000 vacancies. This has caused immense distress among the unemployed youth in the state.
