Shopkeepers and business managers must attend FoSTac training

In Duddeda, a village in Kondapaka mandal, Siddipet district, the Maharashtra Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (MCED) held a training event on Tuesday for shopkeepers and hotel managers. Bhargavi Kanchala, a trainer from the Food Safety Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), led the session.

She emphasized the importance of food safety training for shopkeepers to ensure they offer quality food products. Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in business areas is crucial. Hotel managers were advised against using food colors and were instructed not to reuse cooking oil more than three times. To prevent spoilage, she urged taking necessary precautions in hotels and shops. Shop owners should regularly wash their hands and undergo health check-ups every six months.

The event saw participation from Duddeda Gram Panchayat Secretary Chakrapani, MCED Regional Coordinators Srinivas and Mahender Reddy, District Coordinator Ravi, staff members Rakesh, Bhupal Bhanuchander, Sarath, Vinay, Ranjith, Ramesh, and many shopkeepers.
