“Short film contest seeks entries promoting financial literacy”

Fortune Academy in Hyderabad is hosting a short film contest to promote financial literacy. Dr. Mani Pavitra, co-founder of Fortune Academy, explained that financial literacy involves understanding and using financial skills like budgeting and investing.

Films can be in English or Telugu, must be less than two minutes long, and can be in horizontal or vertical format. The submitted films will become the property of Fortune Academy. Topics for the films include the importance of money, investing, saving culture, and digital transactions.

The top three films selected by a jury will receive cash prizes of Rs 25,000, Rs 15,000, and Rs 10,000, along with certificates of appreciation. Additionally, five entries will be awarded consolation prizes of Rs 1,000 each. The deadline for submitting entries is July 31, with videos to be emailed to fortuneacademyhub@gmail.com. The award ceremony is scheduled for August or September 2024.
