Over the last ten days, silver prices have risen by ₹24,000, with a ₹13,000 increase in just three days. Experts predict that silver might touch ₹2,50,000 at the start of the new year. Increasing investments in silver in the international market, production declines, fluctuations in the dollar, and the rising demand for silver in electronics are driving this price hike, according to market specialists.
Gold prices are also on the rise. On Tuesday, the price of 24-carat gold jumped by ₹2,400, reaching ₹1,38,550 for 10 grams. Similarly, the price of 22-carat gold increased by ₹2,200, now costing ₹1,27,000 for the same quantity.
