Gold and silver prices have risen significantly. On Tuesday, the price for 10 grams of 24-carat gold increased by ₹1,040, reaching ₹1,47,280. Meanwhile, the price for 10 grams of 22-carat gold went up by ₹950, now costing ₹1,35,000.
Record-breaking Silver Prices
Silver prices have hit new record highs. On Tuesday alone, the price for a kilogram of silver jumped by ₹12,000, now standing at ₹3,30,000. It’s noteworthy that on January 1, the price was ₹2,56,000 per kilogram, and has now reached ₹3,30,000. Back on July 1, 2025, the price per kilogram was ₹1,20,000, highlighting a significant increase in just a few months. Market experts predict that soon, silver might hit ₹3.50 lakh per kilogram, and gold could reach ₹1.50 lakh. International events and issues like the Greenland dispute are thought to be driving these price increases.
