The date for the Singareni identity societies’ election was temporarily postponed due to the Telangana assembly elections. However, it has now been finalized and will be held on December 27. This decision was made following a meeting between the Deputy Chief Commissioner of Labor, Srinivasulu, and the leaders of 13 labor unions in Singareni.

The announcement for the election was made after a consensus was reached among the leaders. The meeting was attended by leaders of national unions, such as AITUC, INTUC, CITU, IFTU, BMS, HMS, as well as Singareni officials. The results of the assembly elections have also been announced, clearing the way for the Singareni elections to take place.
