Hyderabad: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) is currently investigating a liquor scam in Andhra Pradesh. For the past three days, the team has been carrying out operations in Hyderabad as part of the probe.
Their main focus is on companies connected to businessman Kasireddy. He is suspected of being a key figure in the scam, which is believed to have happened during the time of the previous government.
The SIT has been raiding several places linked to Kasireddy’s companies. They are closely looking into financial records and transactions. Reports suggest that Kasireddy started many businesses during the former government’s rule, and these are now being examined for possible wrongdoing.
This is the fourth time that the SIT has sent a notice to Kasireddy, asking him to appear for questioning. He has been told to come in on April 19 to speak with the investigators.
