South Central Railway is preparing for the Sankranthi festival by introducing 12 special trains across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. This effort aims to manage the expected surge in passengers.
On January 9th and 10th, two special trains will run between Hyderabad and Sirpur Kaghaznagar. More trains will be available on the Hyderabad-Vijayawada and Sirpur Kaghaznagar-Hyderabad routes on January 9th and 18th. Additionally, two trains will operate on the Vijayawada-Hyderabad route.
A special train will travel from Charlapalli to Anakapalli on January 14th, with a return trip from Anakapalli to Charlapalli on January 15th.
These extra train services aim to meet the high travel demand during the festival, making journeys more convenient for passengers.
