Southwest monsoon to bring rain to AP and Telangana

The Southwest Monsoon is impacting the Telugu states, with predictions for rain in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning about rainfall. The Amaravati Meteorological Centre announced on Tuesday that rain is expected in Andhra Pradesh over the next three days.

Meteorologists observed that winds in the lower troposphere are moving from the southwest to the west in Andhra Pradesh – Yanam, influencing the weather conditions.

On Tuesday, light to moderate rain is likely in parts of North Coastal Andhra and South Coastal Andhra Pradesh, with gusty winds reaching 30-40 km per hour. The weather will be hot and humid, making it uncomfortable.

Similar weather is expected on Wednesday and Thursday, with some areas experiencing light to moderate rain or thundershowers. Thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds of 30-40 km per hour are possible, along with continuous hot and humid conditions.

In Rayalaseema, light to moderate rain or showers are predicted on Tuesday, again with strong winds of 30-40 km per hour. Light to moderate rains or thundershowers are forecast for isolated areas on Wednesday and Thursday, with possible thunderstorms and strong winds.

Residents in the affected regions should stay alert and take precautions during this unstable weather period.
