    District SP Gaikwad Vaibhav Raghunath is establishing a cyber crime unit in Nagarkurnool to address the increasing technology-related issues in society. The police department will equip cyber warriors with mobile phones to better assist victims of cyber crimes. These cyber warriors will work at different stations in the district to combat cyber crimes effectively.

    The cyber warriors will be responsible for gathering evidence in cyber cases, identifying criminals, and ensuring they are punished. They have been trained to use technology to provide prompt service to the public. The training covered topics like computer viruses, information security, cyber security challenges, and more.

    A total of 22 personnel in the district have been trained to handle cybercrime cases. SP Gaikwad Vaibhav Raghunath urged the public to be cautious and avoid falling victim to cyber fraud. Additional SP CH Rameshwar, Cyber Crime DSP Giri Kumar, and constables from the Cyber Warriors unit were present at the meeting where SIM cards were distributed to the police personnel.
