    Adilabad District SP Issues Guidelines for Peaceful New Year Celebrations

    Adilabad District Superintendent of Police (SP), Goush Alam, has urged residents to celebrate the upcoming 2025 New Year in a joyful and peaceful manner. The SP emphasized the importance of following safety guidelines to ensure celebrations are smooth and trouble-free across the district.

    To maintain order and prevent any incidents, the SP announced that special teams will be formed to patrol continuously, particularly around midnight. Additionally, 30 special checkpoints will be set up across the district on December 31 to monitor activities and ensure safety.

    Residents were advised to contact Dial 100 in case of emergencies. The SP also requested that New Year celebrations should not cause inconvenience to others, whether in urban or rural areas. He stated that all celebrations must conclude by 12:30 a.m.

    Furthermore, the use of DJs and loud sound systems on December 31 is prohibited. Strict legal action will be taken against those found violating regulations, such as driving under the influence of alcohol, or engaging in activities that disrupt public peace.

    The SP extended his New Year wishes to the people of the district, as well as police personnel and officials. He called for everyone’s cooperation with the police to ensure that the celebrations remain safe and enjoyable for all.
