Gadwal – T. Srinivas Rao, the District Superintendent of Police (SP), announced that the Prajavani program is actively helping citizens share their concerns with the police. This event takes place every Monday, giving locals a chance to meet officials directly.
During the latest session, the SP listened to eight individuals from different areas of the district. Each person came forward with a complaint. After hearing them out, SP Srinivas Rao immediately contacted the responsible officers by phone. He directed them to investigate the issues and provide detailed reports without delay.
The SP explained that the purpose of Prajavani is to build trust between the police department and the public. He said the system ensures that all complaints are logged online, allowing for constant tracking and faster resolutions.
This week, the department received:
– 2 cases of cheating
– 1 land dispute
– 1 suspected fire incident involving a haystack
– 4 other general complaints
SP Rao assured the public that his team is committed to acting quickly on all genuine grievances. He stressed that bringing justice to citizens remains a top priority for the district police.
