Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla is upset about the disruptions in the House and did not attend the proceedings on Wednesday morning. YSRCP leader Midhun Reddy chaired the Lok Sabha during the Question Hour.

Birla was unhappy with the behavior of both the Opposition and Treasury benches during the passage of bills in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday. Officials have informed both sides about the Speaker’s displeasure regarding the repeated disruptions in Parliament since the Monsoon session began on July 20.

Officials stated that the Speaker values the dignity of the House and expects members to maintain decorum during the proceedings.
