Special Drives Organized by the Railway Protection Force in Hyderabad

Railway Protection Force (RPF), South Central Railway (SCR) has been working on a project called ‘Operation Nanhe Fariste’. In November, they rescued 107 children and had some successful operations. One of their operations, called Operation Narcos, resulted in the seizure of cannabis worth more than Rs 1.79 crores and the arrest of 30 people. Another operation, called Operation Upalabdh, aimed to reduce the activities of touts and make railway tickets more accessible to the public. They were able to arrest 36 touts and seize 201 live tickets, valued at Rs 5,13,685. Additionally, under Operation Yatri Suraksha, they arrested 44 offenders and recovered stolen property worth Rs 25.92 lakhs. Another operation, Operation Satark, resulted in the seizure of illegally transported liquor worth Rs.4,56,037 and the arrest of 13 people. The offenders were handed over to the Excise department, who registered 35 cases against them.
