However, recent developments suggest that he might not be contesting from Nampally in the upcoming elections. Instead, rumors have been circulating that Majid Hussain is poised to enter the race.
Majid Hussain’s possible entry into the fray would set up an interesting battle, as Feroz Khan, the Congress candidate, is said to be giving tough competition. This has piqued the interest of political pundits and the electorate, as both candidates have their own strengths and support bases.

The rumors surrounding the change in candidates began when Majid Hussain, a former Mayor of Hyderabad, took the initiative to bring HYC Salman and Ayub into AIMIM. Salman had previously expressed his intent to contest from Nampally against Jaffer Hussain Mehraj. This move raised suspicions that Majid Hussain might be the AIMIM candidate for Nampally, leaving Meraj Hussain to potentially contest from Yakhutpura.
