    Gadwal, Telangana – A grand religious ceremony took place in Thottunoni Doddi village of Aiza Mandal, part of the Alampur Assembly Constituency. Devotees gathered in large numbers to witness the installation of the idol of Sri Sri Sri Devamma Avva Gangamata. Alongside the idol, a Dhwajasthambam (flag post), Gopuram (temple tower), and Kalash (sacred pot) were also installed in the newly built temple.

    The event was filled with devotion and cultural spirit. Locals came together in unity, turning the occasion into a festive celebration.

    Prominent leaders attended as chief guests. Dr. S.A. Sampath Kumar, former Alampur MLA and AICC Secretary, and Vakiti Srihari, current Makthal MLA, were warmly welcomed by the temple committee and the villagers.

    Dr. Sampath Kumar praised the community’s strong spirit and devotion. “With the blessings of Goddess Devamma, may this region flourish,” he told the crowd. He appreciated how the village had come together to celebrate the event like a festival.

    He also encouraged the villagers to think beyond their own development and focus on the progress of the entire mandal and constituency. He said true upliftment of poor and backward communities is possible only through the Congress Party, which he said has always worked for social justice and increased BC reservations.

    Responding to a request from the villagers, Dr. Sampath Kumar promised to support the construction of a community hall in the village. He reassured the people that his support for local development would continue and that they could reach out to him anytime.

    After the speeches, the temple committee honored both leaders with traditional shawls and mementoes, showing their appreciation for the guests’ support and presence.

    Many local dignitaries took part in the event, including Aiza Mandal President Jayanna, Market Committee Chairman Doddappa, State Official Representative Sheikshavali Achari, Medikonda Swami, Sridhar, and others. The ceremony highlighted the spiritual strength and unity of the Gadwal region, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who attended.
