The people of the Warangal region have good news as the Telangana Government has approved the revival of Mamnoor Airport near Warangal. This has been a long-awaited project for the area.

The government has allocated Rs 205 crore to acquire 280.30 acres of land for the airport project. In addition, the District Collector of Warangal has been instructed to provide an extra 253 acres of land, free of cost, to expand the runway. The Rajiv Gandhi Hyderabad International Airport has already given its No Objection Certificate (NOC) for the project.

The Airports Authority of India (AAI) will be in charge of managing the project. This includes the construction, development, and maintenance of facilities for A-320 aircraft. The revival of Mamnoor Airport is expected to boost air travel options and contribute to the economic development of the Warangal region.
