Hyderabad: Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu, the Deputy Chief Minister, stated that Telangana is now competing not just with Indian states but with developed countries worldwide.
He spoke at the National-Level CA Students' Conference organized by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) at Shilpakala Vedika. The event took place on Thursday.
The Deputy CM pointed out that Telangana provides a great environment for CA students from all over India. He assured that those who complete their CA studies will find many job opportunities in the state. He praised ICAI as a vital part of India’s financial and ethical structure.
He stressed the importance of ethics for chartered accountants. In a time of fast technological changes, he noted that integrity is crucial. He urged the students to ensure their work reflects honesty and accountability.
Becoming a chartered accountant involves more than just exams; it includes ongoing learning and personal growth. Bhatti highlighted that CAs are not only about managing accounts; they play a key role in public trust and resource management. With advancements in blockchain, AI-based accounting, and digital taxation, he encouraged CA students to keep updating their skills and knowledge.
