The state government has allowed a brewery company to supply beer in Hyderabad due to high demand for chilled beer in the summer. The company, Som Distilleries and Breweries, will set up a brewery to manufacture beer in the state, which is already a hub for beer production by well-known domestic and international breweries.
During the current summer season, there has been a significant increase in the demand for beer. Licensed wine shops may face shortages of beer supply, leading them to display “no beer stock” boards. Officials have stated that the brewery will provide its popular branded beers, which are already well-liked in North Indian states.
