Bhadradri Kothagudem district, known for being affected by Maoist activities, has put strict security measures in place to ensure smooth polling. Special check posts have been set up at key locations, including near state borders, to increase security and keep a close watch on the area.
In Charlamandalam, out of the 36 polling booths, 32 have been moved to Adinam due to being high-risk zones. This decision was taken under police supervision to reduce potential risks and protect the electoral process in areas at higher risk of disturbances.
The increased security measures show the authorities’ dedication to maintaining safety and order during the elections in Bhadradri Kothagudem district. By addressing security concerns proactively and using resources effectively, the administration aims to provide a safe environment for voters to freely exercise their democratic rights without fear or interference.
