    Osmania Medical College of Hyderabad has won the National Finale of the intercollegiate Sweden India Nobel Memorial Quiz 2023, which took place in Delhi. Sayed Mohammad Hashmi, Hussain Ahmed, and Syed Abdul Mannan, who are students at the college, answered a variety of questions about Nobel prizes and Sweden to win the competition.
    The prizes were presented to the winners by Jan Thesleff, Sweden’s Ambassador to India. The quiz saw participation from colleges across the country, with over six teams competing in the national round. The quiz was conducted by quizmasters Kunal Savarkar and Seema Chari.
    Jan Thesleff expressed his happiness with the response and enthusiasm for the Sweden-India Nobel Memorial Quiz. The quiz was held in five cities in India and marked 75 years of diplomatic relations between Sweden and India. Thesleff mentioned that the quiz is a great platform to celebrate the strong friendship between the two countries.
    The winners of the quiz, Osmania Medical College, will receive a weeklong trip to Sweden. They will have the opportunity to visit the headquarters of partnering companies, Swedish universities, and the Nobel Museum. All participants of the quiz received certificates, and many of them also won exciting audience prizes.
