Students in Karimnagar encouraged to develop job readiness skills

Dr V Rajeswara Rao, the Head of Department of Humanities and Science at KITS Singapur, recently gave a motivational speech at the Freshers Party for the first-year students. He emphasized the importance of using all available resources to increase industry-relevant skills and prepare for future job opportunities.

Dr Rao highlighted the need for students to learn advanced technology, even if it is not part of their syllabus. He recommended using online platforms like NPTEL and COURSE ERA, as well as the digital library and the internet, to gain knowledge beyond what is taught in the classroom.

Additionally, Dr Rao encouraged students to participate in extracurricular activities such as games, sports, NSS, NCC, singing, dancing, and karate. He believed that having a well-rounded personality would benefit them in their personal and professional lives.

During the event, Venkat Sabbani, a Senior Director from a software company in Bengaluru, also addressed the Computer Science students. The Freshers Party coordinators, K Srinivas, R Rajasekhar, A Sanjeevaraju, G Deepak, and M Rakesh, arranged all the necessary facilities for the program.

Furthermore, the students showcased their talents through cultural dances and skits, receiving applause from the audience.
