The SIO delegation, led by Abdul Rahman and Hidayatullah, met with Health Minister T Harish Rao to discuss this issue. They asked for colleges to release the certificates of students who have not received their scholarships so that they can continue their education. They also requested the immediate release of the budget for scholarships, especially for final year students.

The leaders also asked the government to improve the scholarship process so that it is more efficient and continuous. Many students are taking loans in the hopes of receiving their scholarships.
