    Hyderabad: Rachakonda Police Commissioner G Sudheer Babu visited Saroornagar Lake on Monday to check the security arrangements for the ongoing Ganesh festivities. He assured that the Ganesh immersion program will take place without any issues.

    During his visit, the Commissioner spoke with officials from different departments and suggested improvements for the immersion point. He emphasized that all necessary steps will be taken to ensure the celebrations proceed smoothly and safely within the Rachakonda Commissionerate limits.

    Sudheer Babu mentioned that a total of eight cranes will be placed at Saroornagar Lake to help with the immersion process. He also stated that facilities like barricading, freshwater supply, and proper lighting are being arranged in collaboration with the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC).

    Additionally, over 55 CCTV cameras have been installed to monitor the area and prevent any incidents during the immersion day. The Commissioner explained that a coordination meeting has been held with officials from all government departments to ensure the event is conducted peacefully with tight security measures.
