The government has appointed Sunpreet Singh as the new Police Commissioner of Warangal. The official orders were issued on Friday.
Sunpreet Singh is an IPS officer from the 2011 batch. He is currently serving as the Superintendent of Police (SP) in Suryapet district.
In 2012, he worked as the Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) in Mulugu and also served as the Officer on Special Duty (OSD) for Warangal Rural.
Later in his career, he held positions as the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) in LB Nagar and as the SP of Jagtial.
The current Police Commissioner of Warangal, Amber Kishore Jha, has been transferred to Ramagundam.
