Tamil Nadu to implement Telangana’s IT policies

Dr Palanivel Thiaga Rajan, the State Minister for Information Technology and Digital Services in Tamil Nadu, led a delegation to Telangana. He stated that his government will implement Telangana’s IT policies and strategies. The team visited Telangana’s innovation ecosystem, including T-Works, T-Hub, WE Hub, and the T-Fiber office in Gachibowli. They also met with stakeholders in the IT sector at the Tech Mahindra campus in Hyderabad. The IT Department officials explained the State government’s initiatives to them.

Thiaga Rajan praised the remarkable development achieved by Telangana under the leadership of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao. He acknowledged Hyderabad’s robust growth in the IT sector. However, he mentioned that Tamil Nadu did not achieve the desired growth due to previous governments. As the new IT Minister of Tamil Nadu, he visited Hyderabad to understand the policies and initiatives that could benefit his state.

Thiaga Rajan expressed his intention to adopt the IT policy of the Telangana government. He appreciated Minister KTR for explaining the policies and programs to build a strong IT and allied sectors. He believed that this visit would be helpful to him.
