Hyderabad: To improve traffic flow in the Tarnaka area, Hyderabad traffic police have decided to reopen the Tarnaka junction on a trial basis for 15 days. This junction was earlier closed, but now it will be opened again for vehicles moving between Osmania University (OU) and Lalapet.

The trial will run from April 18 to May 2. During this time, vehicles coming from Osmania University can go straight towards Lalapet or take a right turn towards Habsiguda. Similarly, vehicles from Lalapet can go straight towards OU or take a right turn to Mettuguda.

However, vehicles coming from Mettuguda will not be allowed to turn right towards OU. Instead, they must continue straight to the HUDA Complex in Tarnaka, take a U-turn, and then turn left at Tarnaka to reach OU.
