Former MLA Tatikonda Rajaiah has resigned from the BRS party just before the Lok Sabha elections. Rajaiah was hoping to secure the Warangal parliamentary seat but decided to leave the party because he received no response from the party leadership. It is expected that he will soon join the Congress party.

Rajaiah, who currently holds the position of MLA for station Ghanpur, was denied a ticket by the BRS party in the last assembly elections. Instead, former MLA Kadiam Srihari contested the election and emerged as the winner. While the BRS party is currently focused on the Lok Sabha elections and selecting MP candidates, Rajaiah did not receive any assurance from the party leadership regarding his earlier request for a change of Parliament seat. As a result, he made the decision to leave the party. There is a possibility that he will join the Congress party and contest as an MP in the near future.
