Hyderabad: On Thursday, secretaries from different districts of the Telangana Cricket Association (TCA) spoke to the CID. They shared their statements about the suspected misuse of funds provided by the BCCI for cricket development.
These officials handed over vital evidence concerning around Rs 12 crore allegedly misused over the last decade. The funds were reportedly recorded under the names of HCA district units.
They asked for criminal charges and a detailed investigation into past HCA leaders and district secretaries from the last ten years. Among those mentioned were Chekuri Venkat from Khammam, Chaganti Srinivas from Warangal, Kodati Pradeep from Adilabad, M Rajasekhar from Mahbubnagar, A Rajender Reddy from Medak, Venkat Reddy from Nizamabad, Agam Rao from Karimnagar, and Syed Ameenuddin from Nalgonda. The secretaries called for strict actions against those involved.
