Hyderabad: The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) has extended the admission deadline for first-year Intermediate courses for the 2025–26 academic year. This gives relief to students waiting for their SSC Advanced Supplementary results.
Students can now register for courses until August 20, 2025. This extension covers admissions in Government, Private Aided, Private Unaided, and various Residential and Welfare Junior Colleges throughout the state.
TGBIE has directed all affiliated institutions, including Co-Operative Colleges, T.G. Social Welfare and Tribal Welfare Residential Colleges, KGBV, TGMRJC, BC Welfare, Incentive Junior Colleges, and Composite Degree Colleges, to admit eligible students quickly.
The admission deadline was extended due to the SSC Advanced Supplementary Results. The new deadline of August 20, 2025, applies to all affiliated junior colleges in Telangana.
Students are advised to check the affiliation status of colleges before enrolling. The Board recommends parents and students visit the official websites—acadtgbie.cgg.gov.in and tgbie.cgg.gov.in—to verify if a Junior College is officially affiliated. Enrolling in unaffiliated colleges might cause academic issues or invalidate enrollment.
