Hyderabad: The Telangana State United Teachers Federation (TS UTF) has asked for a two-day extension to apply for transfers within Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBVs). They also want a transfer system that helps general employees by filling new and vacant jobs.

The request comes after an order from the State Project Director of Samagra Shiksha. This order set a July 26th, 2025, deadline for spouse and mutual transfer applications at KGBVs.

TS UTF State President Chava Ravi and General Secretary A Venkat support the order but see difficulties. Many KGBVs have been upgraded lately, causing vacancies as staff leave for other jobs.

Furthermore, many employees work in far-off places for low pay and wish to transfer.
