    A tragic incident occurred during Holi celebrations in Narayanpet district. A 13-year-old girl lost her life and two others were injured on Gopalpet street in the district headquarters.

    The young girl, Lakshmi Pranathi, lost her life when a water tanker collapsed on the street early in the morning. The incident was a result of a fire that broke out during the ‘Kamadahanam’ ritual the night before, causing the nearby mini-water tanker to overheat and collapse.

    The Narayanpet police have registered a case and are currently investigating the matter to determine the cause of the accident.
