In a major political shift in Telangana, Gaddam Vivek, Vakiti Srihari, and Adluri Laxman took their oaths as ministers at Raj Bhavan. This addition brings the total number of ministers in the Telangana cabinet to 15, with three positions still open.
The cabinet’s current lineup includes a variety of social groups. There are four members from the Reddy community, four from Scheduled Castes (SCs), three from Backward Classes (BCs), and one representative each from the Velama, Brahmin, Kamma, and Scheduled Tribe (ST) communities.
Speculation is growing about the possibility of another cabinet expansion. Many hopeful candidates are eager to become ministers.
