Telangana BJP leader asks US to protect Indians

Hyderabad: BJP Telangana State President Ramchander Rao visited the family of Pole Chandrasekhar, a student from Telangana killed in a shooting in the USA on Sunday. He met Chandrasekhar’s parents at their home in LB Nagar to offer his condolences.

Speaking to the media, Rao mentioned, “We visited the family of Pole Chandrasekhar, who tragically lost his life in a shooting in the USA.”

Efforts are being made at the central government level to bring Chandrasekhar’s body back to India quickly. Rao stated they have communicated with local residents, NRIs, and officials from the Ministry of External Affairs about this.

He expressed concern over the recent attacks on Indians in the USA, recalling that about 30 years ago, a group named ‘Dot Busters’ also targeted and harmed Indians.

Rao urged the US government to implement security measures to protect Indians, emphasizing their significant contribution to the country’s development.
