Hyderabad, November 17, 2025 – Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has expressed profound shock and grief over a road accident in Saudi Arabia that claimed the lives of several residents of Telangana who were traveling to Mecca.
In a statement, the Chief Minister said, “The road accident that occurred in Saudi Arabia has caused profound shock. The news that several residents of Telangana, who were traveling to Mecca, have died in this incident has caused intense sorrow.”
Immediate Government Action
The Chief Minister has directed immediate action to assist the affected families. “I have instructed the Chief Secretary and DGP of the state government to immediately speak with officials from the Indian Ministry of External Affairs and the Embassy, ascertain the well-being of our people, and take supportive actions,” Revanth Reddy stated.
The CM emphasized that the state government will stand by the affected families during this difficult time. “I pray that they remain strong,” he added.
State government officials are coordinating with central government authorities and the Indian Embassy in Saudi Arabia to gather complete details about the accident, confirm the identities of the victims, and ensure necessary support is provided to the families.
